Join Alex for an afternoon of rest, sound and somatic expression. In this workshop we will explore the healing qualities of sound, mantra and the power of self expression and enquiry, as we rest deeply into what Is.

In a world that thrives on fast pace and sense of disconnection, Alex invites you to slow down and listen, to come together in community and connection and cultivate a sense of togetherness and gratitude for what we have and who we are. This 2h journey will be an opportunity to nourish your body and soul and help your nervous system come into a state of more balance and harmony. 

What to bring:

- notebook and a pen

- ⁠cozy, warm layers (thick socks, jumpers etc)

- ⁠your own pillow for extra comfort

- ⁠anything else that makes you feel held and supported

*mats, block, blankets and eye pillows are provided

  • Somatic practices invite us to learn the language of the body. The language of sensations and of feeling. It is the practice of deep introspection and slow, gentle pace. Here the focus is on the internal experience rather than on th

    e external appearance or the end result of the movement. The goal is to be here, to connect more to the present moment through the vessel of the ever feeling body that communicates with us in every moment. Somatics invite us to curious exploration and freedom of expression where the brain is the last to know and the movement arises from the inner body to translate into the outer form.
