Empowered Pregnancy

Join Alex for a transformative prenatal workshop designed to support and empower mamas to be from 12 weeks onward. Through mindful movement, embodied awareness, and practical birth education, you'll gain tools to navigate pregnancy with greater ease and confidence. This 4-hour session includes: Spinning Babies® techniques to support optimal fetal positioning The benefits of prenatal yoga for strength, mobility, and relaxation

An introduction to biomechanics to create space and balance in the body, enhancing comfort during pregnancy and labor Whether you're preparing for your first birth or adding to your growing family, this workshop offers a supportive space to connect with your body, your baby, and other women on a similar path. The intention is to help you feel grounded, informed, and ready—for birth and beyond. No prior yoga experience is necessary.

About Alex:

Alex Zalewska is a senior movement facilitator and certified pre- and postnatal yoga teacher with a deep passion for supporting women through the transformative journey of pregnancy. Her work is rooted in helping women reconnect with their bodies, build trust in their innate wisdom, and prepare—both physically and emotionally—for birth.

Alex is also trained in Applied Polyvagal Theory in Therapeutic Yoga for Nervous System Regulation, a powerful approach she weaves into all of her classes. This allows her to offer practical tools that help her students learn to regulate their nervous systems, cultivate resilience, and find a greater sense of calm and balance.

With many years of experience in somatics, embodied yin and restorative yoga Alex holds space for you to slow down, turn inward, and rediscover your intuitive nature. Her classes encourage a meditative awareness—free of judgment and agenda—that invites you to befriend yourself fully, in both your light and your shadow. All levels are welcome in Alex’s classes.

FAQ’s

  • What comfy clothes that you can stretch and move easily in.

  • All the equipment is provided but if you have your favourite prop, pregnancy cushion, blanket etc -feel free to bring it along. Please also bring with you a notebook and a pen.

  • Yes, a light lunch and a drink before the workshop is fine. It’s best to save having a big meal for after the session though. There will be snacks and teas provided during the break too.

    Feel free to bring your own food.

    The studio has a small fridge and microwave.

  • Yes, women in every stage of pregnancy are welcome from 12 weeks onwards.

  • Absolutely, this workshop will be very helpful for those with breech babies
